IES’ kickball team, “Don’t Stop BALLieving,” is in its 3rd season, and the team is having their best season ever! So far, they have played 5 games with a 2-3 record. They have 2 more weeks of the regular season, and then an elimination tournament for the Championship. The team includes a blend of IES employees across divisions, as well some friends and significant others.
Each season there is a theme week and costume competition. This season was 80s horror movies, and the team went all out as zombies from Michael Jackson’s “Thriller!” In the past, the team has been “Snakes on a Plane” during Samuel L. Jackson week and “Tetris” for video game week. This season, when the team is not dressed up for a theme week, they wear light pink in honor of Kelly Shipp and breast cancer awareness month.
